This week the children has a visit from the Life Education Van. They learnt about diet, exercise and how drugs can affect the way the body works. In addition, they were taught about how to develop the skills to manage their feelings and the risks they may encounter so that they can take responsibility for their own lives. Life Education Van is an independent and self-supporting charity working in partnership with schools, parents and the wider community to help children between the ages of 3 and 13 develop the ability to make positive, informed choices about their health, and reduce the risk of drug misuse. The whole experience was very kindly funded by the school Trustees.
