On Tuesday the choir from each Blandford area school worked collaboratively at The Blandford Secondary School as part of the 'Sing Up' project. Each year the National Arts Council provide money to schools to go towards a specific project and this year it was aimed at developing the choir of each school. Two professional singing coaches taught the children over the afternoon a wide range of singing techniques and methods. In the evening the children performed a large array of songs from different musicals to a huge audience of parents. The Blandford School's Sixth Form Choir sung songs from Les Miserables and this was followed by a very powerful performance of 'Tomorrow' from Annie and 'Let it Go' from Frozen. It was a sensational event that was very well received - the singing was fantastic!
